Gussy her up like a princess, add a crown, maybe even a castle in the background... go to town with this one! I made mine super sparkly.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh21i1iRuo4sduY5uTFRSFC2IJwO4SN-9XfTHAQ6UYhoN3_JWLjHoReG9xOLXVuS_KKPaL7Sqgpr-XP-qwyd37LEIS6RgMU_1cV3p489XmAH3sM4fp6rcFuZuHiiOhXbEVz7IeSZxEPGLE/s1600/BertPrincess.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh21i1iRuo4sduY5uTFRSFC2IJwO4SN-9XfTHAQ6UYhoN3_JWLjHoReG9xOLXVuS_KKPaL7Sqgpr-XP-qwyd37LEIS6RgMU_1cV3p489XmAH3sM4fp6rcFuZuHiiOhXbEVz7IeSZxEPGLE/s320/BertPrincess.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"></div><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">The paper is from DCWV the glitter stack and they are all super thick and glitteryisious. Hard to see that in the pic. I colored Tilda with copics and enhanced the darker areas with prisma pencils and blending stumps with baby oil. Flower is wild orchid, ribbons (brown) RRR and (pink) SU.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Make sure you head over to <a href="http://www.totallytilda.blogspot.com/">Totally Tilda</a> to see the other DT's creations cause those gals are goooooood and get your entry in there!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">And as for the sad farewell...... I have decided to step down from the Totally Tilda Team. They are a love bunch of gals and I will miss them terribly. I am also going to miss my Susie but I will still see her from time to time at our joint blog STEEL MAGNOLIAS, which is where I will be posting my Tilda cards from now on. </div><div style="text-align: center;">I just have some bigger fish to fry these days and I really need to pare down a few things and focus on the rest. Unfortunately this blog is one of the things. I am pursuing an art career and just don't have the time to keep this blog up so I will be shutting it down. I want to thank all my loyal followers, it was so unexpected and appreciated and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you would like to keep track of what I am doing feel free to pop by my <a href="http://robertalaliberte.blogspot.com/">ART BLOG</a> and visit me sometimes. I am going to have some really cool info there that you may be able to apply to cardmaking and some blogging tips etc. over there as well. I would love it if you followed me there.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">So now, I bid a fond farewell, and sincerely hope to see you all again somewhere in blog land! Thanks for the memories.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

It is a recipe challenge and it is a big recipe too. Our dear Susie wants you to use swirls, pearls, ribbons, AND lace. That is right, you have to make sure you have ALL FOUR of those elements on your creation. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">The prize this week is a 10 pound gift certificate from <a href="http://www.bunnyzoescrafts.com/">BUNNY ZOE CRAFTS,</a> WOW! She has everything Tilda you can think of!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Here is my creation I made for this round:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRrjO8t674xDajqTsfxSPFM9BoKNup_9j9XdLSpgIwm_RwcYfIDPWW1LVV-4222CW-CLNSHznCRbHkZx_vEeJ2uRlgMiv6mNbKpP1Mr3fIDzTtPb2YbIsveaCP5pQ8iirh2ZNHMkZLWzY/s1600/Bert28.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="391" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRrjO8t674xDajqTsfxSPFM9BoKNup_9j9XdLSpgIwm_RwcYfIDPWW1LVV-4222CW-CLNSHznCRbHkZx_vEeJ2uRlgMiv6mNbKpP1Mr3fIDzTtPb2YbIsveaCP5pQ8iirh2ZNHMkZLWzY/s400/Bert28.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Papers are K&Company and SU. The lacy ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbons. I got the swirly bling from dollarama, seems to me that dollarama is not carrying all the good stuff they used to. Not sure what is up with that.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyQx9RqOI4GwfxCvEUv19H8pW22uCGVc5ILR3clVRZha3UKu8l28ODNgd-cDVqHHb-g0Lo9cLWcVilDpjB1nUR_E0tg7ZluowFAW62YfHDZzWg5jT3peLCWNkMCtIvSgK8-CmYpaJrFDc/s1600/Bert28_CU.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyQx9RqOI4GwfxCvEUv19H8pW22uCGVc5ILR3clVRZha3UKu8l28ODNgd-cDVqHHb-g0Lo9cLWcVilDpjB1nUR_E0tg7ZluowFAW62YfHDZzWg5jT3peLCWNkMCtIvSgK8-CmYpaJrFDc/s400/Bert28_CU.jpg" width="388" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Oh yeah, I used my prismas to color her up and I used a gel pen to make the little circles on her dress. I have been back reaching for my Prismas lately, for a while I was all copics. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Make sure you head over to <a href="http://www.totallytilda.blogspot.com/">Totally Tilda </a>and get an entry in. You could win that GC and get yourself some of the new Maggies! I just love that Tilda in the space suit one! Too cute.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Have a great week everyone!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

Susie has some yummy prizes up for grabs on this one. Head over to the challenge blog for the details and to see the rest of the teamies gorgeous projects.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I myself made an ornament. I used my SU Bigz large snowflake to make the snowflake out of cardboard. I painted it silver, and attached all the goodies.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5-ocuFZkBG4rFBwFgfZqn5kGFshUAhr0g0YYlkFLPqk8pMIUT5t1DHG8eK8j6wV60JxIRcAOtcmKZD-HlkRD_Rz8VAJpSbHblmCr3huQEIMK-HDyGHCNTV4UQfvtOTlpfsokM1-gTgb8/s1600/Bertornament.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5-ocuFZkBG4rFBwFgfZqn5kGFshUAhr0g0YYlkFLPqk8pMIUT5t1DHG8eK8j6wV60JxIRcAOtcmKZD-HlkRD_Rz8VAJpSbHblmCr3huQEIMK-HDyGHCNTV4UQfvtOTlpfsokM1-gTgb8/s400/Bertornament.jpg" width="333" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> I made a wire hanger and attached the ribbon to that. The flower is Prima, the greenery is my MS punch. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUBK4yzWmD62TJrylsCH4WhmspzHtPJZso_z7OIvG_SH9hLlxvMaIwXFuPvYEzKGUI3_SnU2sVW_r1QmPKoZfyM_k2VaL_qBSbtCpQhVh8VEkhPXntamXYV7F044Qt-KhMvZanpVUVfjY/s1600/Bertornament_CU.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUBK4yzWmD62TJrylsCH4WhmspzHtPJZso_z7OIvG_SH9hLlxvMaIwXFuPvYEzKGUI3_SnU2sVW_r1QmPKoZfyM_k2VaL_qBSbtCpQhVh8VEkhPXntamXYV7F044Qt-KhMvZanpVUVfjY/s320/Bertornament_CU.jpg" width="251" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">I used liquid applique on the fur on her coat and I added glitter to it while it was wet, then heated it dry with a heat gun. She is colored with Copics.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Be sure to head on over to <a href="http://ww.totallytilda.blogspot.com/">Totally Tilda</a> to see the prizes up for grabs and the rest of the DT's work, they are such a talented bunch of ladies!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">OMG, I just noticed that my scheduled post didn't work sorry!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">That's right, over at <a href="http://www.totallytilda.blogspot.com/">Totally Tilda Challenges </a>we want you to do anything but a card. I had originally had some big dreams, ha ha. They became a book mark. Ah well, another challenge right!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitDJkn9J7SPmilowbaMc5pZpvAZ2VOQF8bu_9rUFzpHaseHjbiz9pWVKeAIIBGbPjJ4uZt8vpIo8Fhr_GbtS8Wd5dV2xX5pxAefW9MraFDzLdMl-uPjCgadSZ5R6AEhORgeH2MaDC1klo/s1600/Bertnocard.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitDJkn9J7SPmilowbaMc5pZpvAZ2VOQF8bu_9rUFzpHaseHjbiz9pWVKeAIIBGbPjJ4uZt8vpIo8Fhr_GbtS8Wd5dV2xX5pxAefW9MraFDzLdMl-uPjCgadSZ5R6AEhORgeH2MaDC1klo/s400/Bertnocard.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />

Limiting with such a small space and I didn't want it to be too thick as it was to go inside a book. Tilda is colored with copics and the butterfly and leaf punch is MS. The flowers are made by me except the big one with glitter, that was Prima. Oh and I have an around the corner punch that I used on the edge which was MS on sale 2x's cause it was on sale at Micheals and Oprah had a coupon for 20% off including sale prices...wellllll tahnks Oprah and Trisha for telling me about the coupon. Boy was the teller dumbfounded at that one. They never let you use a coupon on sale items and she tried to tell me BUT I was on the ball that day. HA HA! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I also want to mention that the lovely book that Tilda is perched on is by Kelly Rae Roberts, lovely dear artist who is full of artsy inspiration. I just love her paintings. Go and check out <a href="http://www.kellyraeroberts.com/">HER SITE</a>.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I am entering this over at <a href="http://cupcakeinspirations.blogspot.com/">cupcake inspirations</a> where the cupcakes are colored red, green and cream. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

I looks like a flower!" My daughter was mortified, she said straight away "What are they gonna think when you give it to them and it stinks like onion!" "Well darlin, that is what body spray is for!" I told her. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Actually, it's just the theme this week over at <a href="http://totallytilda.blogspot.com/">Totally Tilda</a>! We have a fabby sponsor this week, <span style="font-size: medium;"></span><b><a href="http://www.bestcardmaking-downloads.com/">Best Cardmaking Downloads</a></b> , so you wanna head over there and check it out. We got to use some of their digital papers, and here is what I made with the peaches paper!<br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAGGg0fQ_QV1OTQRw8rNvucJXfBpyQa5gZQFtKv7o6GsVeO2Sw-QcOzohdoP8t0rxmoO3i97fvoYmUlb4GG028Df62u-M3z_ssw8mgzfEf_d9Z5NRhQhE-mz3x0rdiRNdR8ZE1UL-7604/s1600/bertfruity.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAGGg0fQ_QV1OTQRw8rNvucJXfBpyQa5gZQFtKv7o6GsVeO2Sw-QcOzohdoP8t0rxmoO3i97fvoYmUlb4GG028Df62u-M3z_ssw8mgzfEf_d9Z5NRhQhE-mz3x0rdiRNdR8ZE1UL-7604/s320/bertfruity.jpg" width="315" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;">Now before you say "PEACHES! WHAT THE...". I threw the peaches paper into photoshop and changed the hue/sat to a plum color and voila, plum paper! I had to click on the leaves and invert the selection so that the rest changed and not the leaves.<br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwmS5UIWosHTHj0ewJUQyASbubWmw1fQBxyTKCpn2d-4K1JDerd5jTuRBWhgR8riRlWLkYt0qxSl2EgfsrJwe1VwNs6fJS-bYQ8jZuah0DbUhXZ0FxVL4BsHOugtunIVrCj0dz8Zx1p78/s1600/bertfruity_CU.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="257" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwmS5UIWosHTHj0ewJUQyASbubWmw1fQBxyTKCpn2d-4K1JDerd5jTuRBWhgR8riRlWLkYt0qxSl2EgfsrJwe1VwNs6fJS-bYQ8jZuah0DbUhXZ0FxVL4BsHOugtunIVrCj0dz8Zx1p78/s320/bertfruity_CU.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Flowers are from Wild Orchid and prima, leaf punch MS, the butterfly is my mini Butterfly punch also MS.<br />

Wahooooo! This time around Susie wants ya to make an easel card. I have to admit mine is not my best work. I have been sick lately and I am not at peek performance.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjur7iKBCXyNiaqsRKmNjh6mtvxKUpzAWQOatUD5H7wgZ48lJNIZBTiIQZcPKfISKAjNdS_ztrk0XstuPjXbqi3OMMiRKMYm8JkebzziDMTn7cH6f8NZ2WWTQ2HlqVpdg7NyDGUjIQdKC0/s1600/Berteaselb.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjur7iKBCXyNiaqsRKmNjh6mtvxKUpzAWQOatUD5H7wgZ48lJNIZBTiIQZcPKfISKAjNdS_ztrk0XstuPjXbqi3OMMiRKMYm8JkebzziDMTn7cH6f8NZ2WWTQ2HlqVpdg7NyDGUjIQdKC0/s400/Berteaselb.jpg" width="333" /></a></div><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Papers are K&Company, flowers are Wild Orchid. I found some large rectangular shaped paper doilies at a dollar store which I cut off a section from for the background area. I colored my Tilda with copics and gave her a once over with the ole spicas for a lovely glittery shine!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;">I used my MS branch punch, or whatever it is called! ROFL!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgI3tbrJobY8EPJHDntuJkgnlKe1_Bzf-Kt7iks9m-kaC9m5fT_AWexRNx2rbqQOqNMxr9ZAO3lsm8FzssHW6hXKOz33nOxYM8V-f7gmNflbGsjCaCgIHxEg0RXzR-GSjKwUgvTlsPJ34A/s1600/BerteasleCU.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="393" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgI3tbrJobY8EPJHDntuJkgnlKe1_Bzf-Kt7iks9m-kaC9m5fT_AWexRNx2rbqQOqNMxr9ZAO3lsm8FzssHW6hXKOz33nOxYM8V-f7gmNflbGsjCaCgIHxEg0RXzR-GSjKwUgvTlsPJ34A/s400/BerteasleCU.jpg" width="400" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: center;">sentiments are Stampin up. I don't know why but I sure have a hard time taking pictures of easel cards. Oh well. Not sure what the prizes are for this round but I am sure they are good knowing Susie so you better <a href="http://totallytilda.blogspot.com/">pop over there</a> and check it out.<br />
<br />
I am entering my card over at <a href="http://magnoliadownunderchallenges.blogspot.com/">Magnolia Down under</a> where the challenge is a gift for you. I interpreted it by wrapping my ribbon on my card like I would wrap it on a gift. Over at <a href="http://papersundaes.blogspot.com/">Paper Sundaes</a> the challenge is Cut it Out and I cut out my image. At <a href="http://cupcakeinspirations.blogspot.com/">Cupcake inspirations</a> the picture is a Santa Cake in Reds, greens, whites and skin tones. <br />
<br />
That's it for me folks!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

<br />
First here is a close up of my flowers:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV7tpixbaN2ZLBsrPnMcK1m4vY0DfGu0xnOdu5iy2iPLhQuSvbZjoUhTzq1tWxjd0HWkRpbuXCf3pMkEGW913RxA-JXt8W2TIq8IpgNxvoI8o-vqOcQCAP_Me-pL_jfINQ7NDrO99Az3M/s1600/Ribbons:rose_CU.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="304" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV7tpixbaN2ZLBsrPnMcK1m4vY0DfGu0xnOdu5iy2iPLhQuSvbZjoUhTzq1tWxjd0HWkRpbuXCf3pMkEGW913RxA-JXt8W2TIq8IpgNxvoI8o-vqOcQCAP_Me-pL_jfINQ7NDrO99Az3M/s320/Ribbons:rose_CU.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Just click on the pick for a real good close up.<br />
<br />
Now for the deets!<br />
<br />
Start off with a circular shaped piece of DP around 3-5" big (depends on how big you want to make your flowers)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd4YgujJcpPAwETq2NGDILiJG181-pxsZZbYyIsz5PuAEEr_jrepZ5Y6HWy57q5850XM4TfX_onFy_qnIfTdvdfkpKNZF_VRDJg_mDVz_1B0kbdiR6zXizgVmfy5JfvM64Z07o5FsgHuE/s1600/rose14.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd4YgujJcpPAwETq2NGDILiJG181-pxsZZbYyIsz5PuAEEr_jrepZ5Y6HWy57q5850XM4TfX_onFy_qnIfTdvdfkpKNZF_VRDJg_mDVz_1B0kbdiR6zXizgVmfy5JfvM64Z07o5FsgHuE/s320/rose14.jpg" /></a></div>I like to use DP cause it is nice and thick and I use one that is patterned on both sides preferably with a lighter and darker side. I find it creates depth.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_j5fXcJ17tn5hmFWrXeF4Pz-EKm3a6YiI7j52bf92sUeFvET8Vl-GynNHxOEfCw3z9DuIBEmSCXlifM-YD0u6eJQcKndkSxXw54RWysNDjbwtO_i7Np4EH-r91QJO02j4UlmHFpErOik/s1600/rose13.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_j5fXcJ17tn5hmFWrXeF4Pz-EKm3a6YiI7j52bf92sUeFvET8Vl-GynNHxOEfCw3z9DuIBEmSCXlifM-YD0u6eJQcKndkSxXw54RWysNDjbwtO_i7Np4EH-r91QJO02j4UlmHFpErOik/s320/rose13.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>Now run it through a paper crimper to break it down a bit and soften the cardstock. Go in a few directions.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-W_xx0V0_PFcB8RPBTONYx6Kwsy3gRlGOxqDtST1cJlZH_krV4qtmF1uLxZ1M8-q58i7jZUZf0uxAtoZl74ELUPS06U_rYPrTT0tk-v7XnnGiy9sX4KgXiWRasOqSqgnOxiusVN4aBsU/s1600/rose12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-W_xx0V0_PFcB8RPBTONYx6Kwsy3gRlGOxqDtST1cJlZH_krV4qtmF1uLxZ1M8-q58i7jZUZf0uxAtoZl74ELUPS06U_rYPrTT0tk-v7XnnGiy9sX4KgXiWRasOqSqgnOxiusVN4aBsU/s320/rose12.jpg" /></a></div>Now take the circle and cut it into a spiral shape.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfvMhK2uSNOSI7fopx1rVo0mj0yL2ygO_NEdIQvXZzwPNbWanVZqwc74PCsy87vys5Tb7D8QUhDEKUII51cINA58bZVaNAhZsTqBGo7ohCiSyOa84laQdWmKlrJZnUvR0Iuyhyphenhyphenx981RKc/s1600/rose11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfvMhK2uSNOSI7fopx1rVo0mj0yL2ygO_NEdIQvXZzwPNbWanVZqwc74PCsy87vys5Tb7D8QUhDEKUII51cINA58bZVaNAhZsTqBGo7ohCiSyOa84laQdWmKlrJZnUvR0Iuyhyphenhyphenx981RKc/s320/rose11.jpg" /></a></div>Now curl it up starting from the outside and roll into the center. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgepBiRkPoLo9WNg9xBGpKcj4cax8m65xkG1nLAbId1Q9N0X5i9RdKvr09gqKhGN5abSNRYXBR1owTsAKNgfBmG5KF8lokIWPREa7SQrkxBgAPlnZwAfE_DCKA8IkaHt_7fr9zKf8RuQmg/s1600/rose10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgepBiRkPoLo9WNg9xBGpKcj4cax8m65xkG1nLAbId1Q9N0X5i9RdKvr09gqKhGN5abSNRYXBR1owTsAKNgfBmG5KF8lokIWPREa7SQrkxBgAPlnZwAfE_DCKA8IkaHt_7fr9zKf8RuQmg/s320/rose10.jpg" /></a></div>Place a large glue dot in the center of the very center.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgU38QPdc_sptaqaSdN9gUnV7We5LQpJxZnlcpqlmtYOhAN1I_FRSVZQzcaLEFOddcQigpL81reReQnS_oaOM14lWDygDJ_B40jhx2mP2E7kS5DfwaQL7oVooo-0PhmxEZc9KBMEgQVGA/s1600/rose9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgU38QPdc_sptaqaSdN9gUnV7We5LQpJxZnlcpqlmtYOhAN1I_FRSVZQzcaLEFOddcQigpL81reReQnS_oaOM14lWDygDJ_B40jhx2mP2E7kS5DfwaQL7oVooo-0PhmxEZc9KBMEgQVGA/s320/rose9.jpg" /></a></div>Use tweezers to press the tip of the section you began rolling up first. How tight you roll your flower is up to you and how the finished flower looks will depend on how tight it is. Tighter flowers look more like buds. How many "rings" there are will also change the look of the flower.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_I5Kd5LIglcuKKbRlBrAg77q2u_ol8LN4HxRmkVTPML9y-412ZzTOnpYQZfwtXzBJSEQ7UMma51O14BNwbAwhDuPhCOqFH2AuxWiWq9nR4BWkEUct2Cq5YFmVECECNlKFhRExp514l4o/s1600/rose8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_I5Kd5LIglcuKKbRlBrAg77q2u_ol8LN4HxRmkVTPML9y-412ZzTOnpYQZfwtXzBJSEQ7UMma51O14BNwbAwhDuPhCOqFH2AuxWiWq9nR4BWkEUct2Cq5YFmVECECNlKFhRExp514l4o/s320/rose8.jpg" /></a></div>Sponge the edges if you want.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXUATRr2zwVBngBGZFWiRkBuv7K1tPF9GLtxbS9YLWk41chRyRPLsHjwinQVe81-blxRHjHAYgFGf_IwmA1AkCGamfhOSx-EFhHqBwksbSuJPMNFBSw4OVwJRdTU3rDxkVYhBmqJoCJLQ/s1600/rose7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXUATRr2zwVBngBGZFWiRkBuv7K1tPF9GLtxbS9YLWk41chRyRPLsHjwinQVe81-blxRHjHAYgFGf_IwmA1AkCGamfhOSx-EFhHqBwksbSuJPMNFBSw4OVwJRdTU3rDxkVYhBmqJoCJLQ/s320/rose7.jpg" /></a></div>Now press and bend and crumple up the edges to make it look like curled petals. I just kinda use the palm of my hand to "cram" it down a bit.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzTMkGq29h_6Wafo64peYLIaTSaaPgHXvA-0tgDuKrJoAffV7w1FeBOAtZLobhyJWRPmZMDD8LyfDdSlY0fSQjd8EsEjaJjK5rO7D7i3q2DeHEN4Qm184o3ZDTwZLjgUVUnMsBX-qxcAc/s1600/rose6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzTMkGq29h_6Wafo64peYLIaTSaaPgHXvA-0tgDuKrJoAffV7w1FeBOAtZLobhyJWRPmZMDD8LyfDdSlY0fSQjd8EsEjaJjK5rO7D7i3q2DeHEN4Qm184o3ZDTwZLjgUVUnMsBX-qxcAc/s320/rose6.jpg" /></a></div>I use cheap clear glue, spread a few drops in the center of the flower and pour micro beads (could also use reg beads, pearls, etc.) into the center, pour off the excess and let it dry.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_VTOg5nE7oOPiPTeiKqIkB6MXu9SVOUfTnSToVh3mZZ4AXrYlG0MI5OBcpn_9HQLyK7ybgfNiSwKiERJFvqvrcqsPS2v5YhPzRbc3w-hoxzt0F4POdQ_j73sApjzqGMfYHmvIXxVKyCo/s1600/rose5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_VTOg5nE7oOPiPTeiKqIkB6MXu9SVOUfTnSToVh3mZZ4AXrYlG0MI5OBcpn_9HQLyK7ybgfNiSwKiERJFvqvrcqsPS2v5YhPzRbc3w-hoxzt0F4POdQ_j73sApjzqGMfYHmvIXxVKyCo/s320/rose5.jpg" /></a></div>I use a MS small rose leaf punch (would love a larger one if anyone knows where I can order one!) to punch out leaf shapes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyElZakEDYzZGFoirDtY5N2tCFTyDIsNM6GGHEDchRajVWNNZlT38dGHIMSJ8sxVUGQY6NKTSte4R8zgqij5MKITby1hMjkqt37XcoiaOTBby0bbCV8FZb8Q9gp5jf-KdsoUZu763p8fE/s1600/rose4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyElZakEDYzZGFoirDtY5N2tCFTyDIsNM6GGHEDchRajVWNNZlT38dGHIMSJ8sxVUGQY6NKTSte4R8zgqij5MKITby1hMjkqt37XcoiaOTBby0bbCV8FZb8Q9gp5jf-KdsoUZu763p8fE/s320/rose4.jpg" /></a></div>I use an embossing stylus to create a vein down the center of the leaf so I can bend it easily. Bend the leaf towards the embossed side.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCWt4347hSjR3BBgIixDPwsUXgcZEUqWF6tgls5uyD23Tyqh_ohgZPz4IOkCmOaemdRCi3NPJXhpVCxR7HiaWy0SDJ70Jen3-nE3GZ1waKfWuIw5xpcyHI56D2SSsJ077ogdnE3zjzjCo/s1600/rose3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCWt4347hSjR3BBgIixDPwsUXgcZEUqWF6tgls5uyD23Tyqh_ohgZPz4IOkCmOaemdRCi3NPJXhpVCxR7HiaWy0SDJ70Jen3-nE3GZ1waKfWuIw5xpcyHI56D2SSsJ077ogdnE3zjzjCo/s320/rose3.jpg" /></a></div>Use a dark color, I used smokey plum by CTMH, to sponge the center and edges of the leaf. EWWWW! My nail looks like I have dirt under it but I promise you it is hair color! I should use gloves! Could be ink too! Never know with me, it is always something creative stuck to my hands!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8qZ8FYBo5Kq1YW9CS6x2LT1w9p0d2ULbcEOdMrT2ju0jYLwlvuXNk5j2JiVCsuhcjkA7VZSWsO1559zt8vvfKEJ_xQAKaNiOsC5JZhXOyWoDljw_DJ1VbPTkARASRskGpo7PRmQbl7Mo/s1600/rose2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8qZ8FYBo5Kq1YW9CS6x2LT1w9p0d2ULbcEOdMrT2ju0jYLwlvuXNk5j2JiVCsuhcjkA7VZSWsO1559zt8vvfKEJ_xQAKaNiOsC5JZhXOyWoDljw_DJ1VbPTkARASRskGpo7PRmQbl7Mo/s320/rose2.jpg" /></a></div>Now curl the leaf back so that it is bent in towards the sponged side and it creates a raised vein effect.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXKuGXC4iRvPOjs1nFCslnraiVd1vedvbNRJKhJPsXX9oO82nYQF23bHp3BAoQs5IiVvvz07_uL1NpAIdKh8bv6vRGz9KNdhBNXXTcB_vQbgPoClj6WX5mzBCWFmVxWPwJoKTlkYWlKgs/s1600/rose1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXKuGXC4iRvPOjs1nFCslnraiVd1vedvbNRJKhJPsXX9oO82nYQF23bHp3BAoQs5IiVvvz07_uL1NpAIdKh8bv6vRGz9KNdhBNXXTcB_vQbgPoClj6WX5mzBCWFmVxWPwJoKTlkYWlKgs/s320/rose1.jpg" /></a></div>And here is the finished flower! Here is another close up of some of the flowers on my Tilda card. As you can see, I curled the edges in on the orange flower and out on the Tilda flower which also changes the look.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7frMTL8apaUwdLjnQBkh37mOX-yzKu4PNbT24bjHAR01XjfUevKZk8LT96ymoouNM15BgpGSDqHOGcleE5Dsc3WNzAKojbpUAbMiUDieU6zw3vx5dUn8caPFINY2VAcRD3h9xkapqTFs/s1600/Ribbons-rose2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7frMTL8apaUwdLjnQBkh37mOX-yzKu4PNbT24bjHAR01XjfUevKZk8LT96ymoouNM15BgpGSDqHOGcleE5Dsc3WNzAKojbpUAbMiUDieU6zw3vx5dUn8caPFINY2VAcRD3h9xkapqTFs/s320/Ribbons-rose2.jpg" /></a></div>I hope you enjoyed the tutorial! I love making these roses and the possibilities are limited only by your imagination!<br />
